Hey, I’m Cody! Welcome to my website. I am the creative mind behind CSTOUT Productions. This creative mind of mine started when I was just a baby. My first love was and has always been music. My mom would always tell me that music never really soothed me to sleep. I would be mesmerized by the sound, beats, and rhythm. This love for music only continued to grow and by age 3 I got my first pair of drumsticks. I’ve stuck with drums over the years, but have added a couple of other instruments into the mix including guitar and piano. After my shitty pop punk band fell apart after high school, I wanted to chase my passion and learn more about the music industry. I took out way too many student loans and headed to Full Sail University to study audio engineering and production.
I started to understand the importance of music/audio in order to create high quality videos. Audio and video really complement each other and are the perfect pair, so I grew more and more curious about how I could combine my skills with music/audio into my own video projects. My first video projects were filmed on a go-pro, iPhone 4, and edited with FCPX. Over the years I’ve slowly started to develop my craft and even became interested in the business side of things. With the goal of doing what I love everyday, I started CSTOUT Productions in 2016 while I was studying business, advertising, and marketing at UW-Whitewater. Since my start in the creative world, I’ve gotten to film, edit, and produce close to 100 projects for small businesses, local artists, and more. Looking forward to my next big adventure. Cheers
